COST EFFECTIVE

Are you tired of swapping elements for your plug-in element style meter?  Do you want a digital meter but don’t want to buy a meter then a line section, element, and signal coax from another manufacturer to make your meter work?  Do you need to measure more than the popular  4kW watt meters on the market today that don’t require plug in elements?  This might be your new meter.

FEATURES

With its 10kW Peak power rating, this meter provides the information needed to help keep your station running at peak efficiency.  With live reflected wattage and live SWR, you don’t need to guess what is happening, you can see it.  With a built-in SWR alert you will know when you should stop transmitting.  (This is a user adjustable parameter.)  

Power scale adjustments allow you to change your visual indicator to show full scale readings from 10W-10kW with a touch of the screen.  

Do you have a particular meter that shows you what you want to see?  This meter can be adjusted to match what you are accustomed to seeing on your station.  

VIEWING ON A LARGER DISPLAY

The meter will be able to be connected to your station monitor via a raspberry pi (orange pi compatible as well) to show on a much larger display if you prefer.  No computer required for simple display use.  A Microsoft Windows 10 or later compatible computer can be used at this time for a larger display.  Under development currently is use with a Linux based platform.

FIRMWARE UPDATES

The BCR-10K is easily updated.  As with all modern devices using a firmware, updates might be needed from time to time.  You’re covered.  A Microsoft Windows 10 or later compatible computer is required, but you will simply go to the Microsoft app store and download the app.  You can then connect your meter for any updates.  Under development currently is use with a Linux based platform.

POWER HANDLING

10,000 watt PEP is the maximum recommended power handling capability of the RF coupling.

FUTURE GROWTH

The BCR-10K has been designed with the future in mind. SWR protection to include an interlock capability is in the R&D phase. This would simply shut down the ability to key your system in the event a high SWR or Reflected wattage event occurs. This can save your station!

The potential to expand into higher power ranges is in review.  

R&D is at the forefront of any project such as the BCR-10K.  The ever changing radio community demands on-going research and innovation.

 

Returns must be requested as a shipping label will be required along with a RMA. Refunds will not be issued until the product is received back at our location and has been thoroughly inspected. Returned items must be In new condition with no signs of wear. A 35% restocking fee will be deducted from any refund issued.
